RBWM in partnership with Slough Borough Council, we’ve launched AskSARA, a new online self-assessment tool to help residents access information and equipment to support independent living.
You can access it here: Slough and Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead – AskSARA
AskSARA is free to use and covers over 90 topics and prompts for users on things they may be struggling with in their day to day lives, and then generates a personalised report including links to equipment and technology that can support their needs.
The tool can be used by anyone but may be of particular use to those beginning to encounter issues living independently, those using adult social services, unpaid carers, those working in prevention services, community leaders, emergency services, teachers, health workers, care homes, charities and those working with the elderly. Please share and promote AskSARA with your contacts and networks.
The site is user friendly, accessible and can be used by anyone – a full council communications campaign promoting AskSARA in the borough will launch from next week and further information will be sent at this time.
If you have any questions or would be interested in attending an online demonstration of AskSARA, please contact Jennifer Hardy
