Bray Parish Council has published a Notice of Casual Vacancy for the Holyport ward.
The notice is now available on our website and noticeboards. If an election is to be called, a request must be made in writing by ten local government electors for the Parish or Holyport ward within 14 working days of the date of the notice.
The deadline for requests is 8 October 2026.
If no valid request is received by that date, the Council will consider co-option in accordance with the election rules. Should no candidate come forward, the vacancy will remain unfilled until the next ordinary parish council election.
The Council recognises the long service given by the outgoing councillor and will keep the position under review in light of the approaching ordinary local elections in May 2027.
