Bray Parish Clerk – Ms Esther Cope explains: I started work as Clerk/RFO for Froxfield Parish Council, Wiltshire on the 1st April 2021, a part-time role, 5 hours per week.

Encouraged by my Chairman, I joined Society of  Local Council Clerks (SLCC) and completed some basic Clerks’ training, my journey had begun.

I began as deputy Clerk for Bray Parish Council January 2022, taking over from the previous Clerk Susan Cook June 2022 , when she retired.

Bray Parish is one of the largest in the UK, the role is challenging, exciting, diverse and no two days are the same!
