Thanks to the Ancient Oak Fairy the green is protected against further incursion.
The travellers would like to thank the residents they met for their hospitality. They were sorry for the delay, they had hoped to go Wednesday but the matriarch had a hospital appointment on Tuesday, and was asked to go back Wednesday for further tests. Good to their word, they left this morning.
The officers and Cllrs would like to thank those residents who reported issues to the Police as requested and for those who recognised how difficult it can be to sort these things out quickly.
We’ll be exploring more permanent access / deterrent solutions.
We’ll keep you “posted”.
